Your Cellulite Solution

Will A Cellulite Patch Help Solve Your Cellulite Problem?

You've heard of cellulite creams, but what about a cellulite patch? Are they more effective than other cellulite treatments?

Have you heard of a cellulite patch? Most women haven't. Every woman dreads cellulite, and for good reason -- during the course of a woman's life, the odds are very much against them that they'll be completely free of cellulite. This is the reason why the cellulite treatment industry is alive and well -- everyone's out looking for products that can make their trouble spots look smoother. Will a patch help solve YOUR problem? Let's see.

Cellulite patches are meant to be worn on skin plagued by cellulite, such as the upper arms, the buttocks, the thighs, and tummy. Like nicotine patches, cellulite patches are activated by the body's natural heat, and deposits certain ingredients that are touted to directly treat cellulite. Patches are meant to be worn on trouble spots anywhere between one to eight hours.

A typical cellulite patch has a number of cellulite-treating ingredients, such as seaweed, red algae, caffeine, L-Carnitine, etc. Such ingredients encourage blood flow in the region, discourage water retention, and shrinking (or even burning) fat cells under the skin. After a few applications, the skin should look smoother and more supple.

Many people have tried using patches, and generally liked what they saw. Some reported visible results after a few applications, while others had to wait around a week before they saw and felt the results. There's a good number of positive reviews about various patches on the Internet today, so it's an indication that it must work well for many people.

But naturally, there are also negative reviews -- some users claim to see little or no results at all after using a patch for several weeks. This may mean that patches may not work for some people, or that you may need to try several different patches before you find the right one for you -- as is the case with other cellulite treatment products, such as creams.

What you'll need to understand is that most topical cellulite treatments, such as patches and creams, are meant to be temporary fixes to your cellulite problems. While they may make your trouble spots look great for the party or that trip to the beach, they're not going to get rid of your cellulite completely. You'll need to keep applying your treatments for as long as you want to look good.

Think of patches and creams as one leg of your cellulite elimination stool. To get rid of at least a good portion of your cellulite, you'll need to get rid of the fat deposits underneath the skin. First of all, a good diet can start things well -- stop taking in too much salt and refined sugar, and try to take in healthier, lower-calorie alternatives.

Aside from that, get some exercise. It's been found that muscle-building exercises -- especially those that target your trouble spots -- reduce cellulite just as well as cardiovascular exercises. Try to come up with an exercise routine that's both fun and effective for you, and your patch treatment will produce even better results. The great thing about patches is that they won't show through sweatpants!
