Interested in learning
more about removing cellulite? In almost every part of the world, the
unpleasant cellulite bothers a lot of people (women in particular), and
removing cellulite has become a very important issue to many. Most
women would like to maintain a good figure, and the appearance of
cellulite can be frustrating. Cellulite has a tendency to appear at the
worst possible places, such as the arms, thighs, and tummy.
Cellulite is has many
causes, and it's important to know them to know the best way to treat
it.
- Cellulite may be
passed on in your family. Women who belong to families prone to suffer
from cellulite are most likely to suffer from it as well. Cellulite
usually starts to appear in the early teens, especially during the ages
of 14 or 15. Some women are also likely to develop cellulite after
giving birth.
- The way you eat can
also be a major cause of cellulite formation in the body. Eating foods
and food products that contain caffeine and alcohol can cause your
cellulite to form. Too much junk food does this, too. Unhealthy kinds
of food puts damaging toxins in your body, which if not cleansed
presently can cause cellulite to form.
- Oral contraceptives,
sleeping pills, diet pills, weight control tablets, and the like are
medicine that can also cause cellulite to show up. These medications
have compositions that produce high levels of estrogen in the body.
This in turn produces cellulite. In addition, some of these medicines
can also increase body toxin levels, causing the formation of even more
cellulite.
- Cigarette smoking is
dangerous to your health. This may sound like a mantra, but cigarette
sticks contain harmful chemicals that degenerate the body's various
systems. Aside from being carcinogenic, it also causes lung and heart
diseases and weakens the skin, making it dry and unhealthy. Smokers are
known to exhibit cellulite formation earlier and more quickly than
non-smokers.
- Water helps cleanse
the body from the inside by washing toxins out. Not drinking enough
water during the day can keep toxins in the body longer, triggering the
formation of more cellulite. Drink the recommended amount of water
everyday to help prevent build up of toxins and make removing cellulite
easier.
Knowing the causes of
cellulite is helpful in preventing it from forming in the first place.
But if you're already suffering from cellulite and would like to get
rid of at least some of it, there are ways to do so. These methods to
removing cellulite can be simply done at home. Here are some of them:
Eat healthy and better.
Your diet should contain fresh foods that contain few or no harmful
toxins. Food prepared at home is better than food bought from fast food
chains and restaurants. Stay away from processed and canned foods. Do a
bit of research and see which kinds of food flush toxins out of the
body.
It's also a good idea to
take multivitamins, since they've been known to help reduce cellulite
in parallel with the proper diet and exercise.
Drink more fluids. Drink
7 to 8 glasses of water everyday. If you're always on the go, it's
recommended to always have a bottle of drinking water with you at all
times to make sure you don't get dehydrated. Water also keeps your skin
from drying up, which can worsen the appearance of cellulite.
Quit smoking. You've
heard time and again that it's bad for you, so it's better to quit now
before your lungs, respiratory system and skin quits on you first.
Cigarette smoking can make it more difficult, if not impossible, to get
rid of cellulite.
If cellulite is a
serious problem for you, consult a doctor who can direct you properly
in treating it. And for people predisposed to develop cellulite, be
patient and practice the home remedies mentioned above. Removing
cellulite is always possible if
you're willing to make a lifestyle change slowly and steadily.
